The Wright State of Mind has as many decks as one can dream of. Ocean view decks lead from the 1st floor king, the 2nd floor rec room, and the 3rd floor great room. Three of the bedrooms have private decks with ocean views, one on the east side of the house and two on the south side. Ocean breezes welcome you as you step onto the top floor deck, and you can climb even higher to the roof-top deck, which offers captivating 360-degree views of the barrier island.
With an elevator serving every floor, six full baths, two half baths, nine TVs, free high-speed wireless internet, and four parking spaces, this Kill Devil Hills home is built for easy, comfortable group living. Please note that this is a non-smoking, no-pet home with Sunday check-in.

A large island with seating along two sides is the focal point of a well-appointed kitchen. Just off the dining area is an expansive deck that leads to an even higher view of the Outer Banks. Built higher than normal for an OBX vacation home, you're bound to be at one of the tallest elevations of all the homes around. Imagine waking up in the morning, sipping your coffee, and watching the sun rise over the ocean from a vantage point like that! There is also a king bedroom with a private bath and a half bath in the great room.
The Location
Kill Devil Hills sits in the heart of the Outer Banks and is a popular vacation spot for active families. Traditional beach cottages share the shoreline with large, luxurious semi-oceanfront homes like this one, and water sports are available on both the ocean and the sound. Close to many parks, guests enjoy a network of bike and walking paths, a community skate park, playgrounds, plus go-carts, bowling, miniature golf, laser-tag, and the movies. The Wright Brothers Memorial, home to a reproduction of the 1903 Wright Flyer, is a treasured national historic attraction just minutes away. Grocery stores, surf shops, colorful boutiques, and everything from fine dining to family fare line the beach road and the bypass, while a drive out to Colington Island leads you past fresh seafood markets and maritime forest on the way to the sound.
