Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch, then head to the screened-in back porch overlooking the sound. With a dining table outside, it’s the perfect spot for dinner with a view—and when evening rolls around, settle in for one of Bay Drive’s unforgettable sunsets over the water.

Downstairs, soak in the hot tub or challenge the family to a game of ping pong or cornhole. Fishing poles and a crab net are also provided under the house for guests who want to try their luck on the water (NC Fishing License required).

Bay Drive offers a quieter side of Kill Devil Hills, known for its beautiful sound views, incredible sunsets, and laid-back neighborhood feel. The Bay Drive multi-use path makes it easy to head out for a morning walk, run, or bike ride along the sound, while nearby public sound accesses offer opportunities for fishing, kayaking, crabbing, and simply enjoying the water.

And while the setting feels tucked away from the busier side of the Outer Banks, you’re still centrally located in Kill Devil Hills with beaches, restaurants, shopping, and local attractions just a short drive away. Just a comfortable little soundfront getaway, plenty of ways to slow down, and a front-row seat to some of the best sunsets on the Outer Banks.
