Between four levels of living space, there is a rec room, a theater, multiple seating areas, 20 king bedrooms with private baths, four bedrooms with two pyramid bunks in each, and more. In total, the home offers 22 full baths and three half baths, along with 26 TVs, free high-speed wireless internet, and 20 parking spaces for a group arriving in a caravan. What sets this house apart from the rest? Without a doubt, it's the pool area. Almost all other oceanfront homes offer a pool on the ground level, and the ocean view is lost between the privacy fence and the dune. Not here! The pool is built up to be level with the first floor, allowing for ocean views to be enjoyed while splashing in the pool, lounging beside it, or relaxing in the hot tub.

A short set of steps or a ramp will lead you to the ground floor entrance of this home. On the east end of this level is a rec room with a kitchenette, seating, and a shuffleboard table. The rec room kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, and microwave, so snacks and cold drinks are always within reach of the games. Adjacent to the rec room is a theater with a large screen and many seating options for a big group wanting to enjoy a movie together, ideal for a rainy afternoon or a post-beach evening. Around the corner from the rec room is a half bath. Bedding on the ground floor includes six king bedrooms with private baths and walk-in showers. There are two additional bedrooms, each with two pyramid bunks that share a bath with a shower/tub.
Through the rec room is a private deck with a hot tub, table and chairs, louvered lattice on the north and south sides, and a dune to the east. Relaxation and vacation fun will be enjoyed whether you're indoors or out! A large oceanview pool measuring 38 by 20 feet, complete with loungers, a poolside cabana, and a hot tub, is all available with an amazing view of the ocean no matter where you choose to hang out. A gas grill is on hand for cookouts, and an outdoor shower makes rinsing off after the beach easy. A short walk towards the ocean puts you on a large dune deck with a polywood picnic table overlooking the Atlantic. Back towards the house, there is a covered deck with a table, chairs, extra seating, and louvered lattice on the north and south sides. A sliding glass door leads you inside.
The first floor lounge and rec room include a pool table, seating, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and icemaker. Eight bedrooms are furnished with king beds and have private baths. The king bedroom adjacent to the rec room is equipped for those with special needs with a private bath that has a roll-under sink and a low-barrier shower with a shower seat. This room has a sliding glass door that leads directly out to the deck, making it easy for those staying in it to access the pool area. Two additional bedrooms share a full bath with a shower/tub. Both bedrooms offer two pyramid bunks with four pyramid bunks in total.

The east end of this level is a large open-concept space with a great room, kitchen, and dining area. The great room includes plenty of comfortable seating for a large group, a flat screen TV positioned over a seasonal fireplace (available October through March), and seating facing the ocean to enjoy an unforgettable view. The kitchen and food preparation areas make up half of this level, including three dishwashers, two refrigerators, two sinks, a double wall oven, a range, a microwave, a Keurig, and ample counter space and cabinet storage for everything you need while staying here. A service kitchen and pantry are positioned off the kitchen with a third sink, a third refrigerator, and more cabinet and counter space, so two or three families can cook at once without crowding. Two sliding glass doors lead from the great room and dining area to the covered deck with outdoor dining and seating options for those who want to sip coffee or enjoy a meal al fresco. A walkway from the deck towards the ocean leads you out towards two sun decks that overlook the pool area and, most impressively, look out over the beach from a unique vantage point that isn't available in almost all other oceanfront homes.
Bedding on this level includes six king bedrooms with private baths with walk-in showers. Along the hallway that leads to each of the bedrooms is a sitting area with a bookshelf and board games and an office area with a large desk and chairs for those needing to do some work or school while out of town.

The Kill Devil Hills Location
Kill Devil Hills sits in the heart of the Outer Banks and is convenient to several grocery stores, shopping, and a variety of dining options from finer restaurants to family fare. Those choices line the two main thoroughfares, the beach road and the bypass, which is also dotted with surf shops and colorful boutiques. Close to many parks, guests enjoy a network of bike and walking paths, a community skate park, and playgrounds, as well as go-carts, bowling, miniature golf, laser-tag, and the movies. The Wright Brothers Memorial, a national historic site celebrating the first airplane flight in 1903, is a short drive away and houses a reproduction of the Wright Flyer. Venture off the main roads to Colington Island, where fresh seafood is caught and sold and a narrow road takes you through maritime forest towards the sound. Water sports are available on both the ocean and the sound, and as an oceanfront home, Island Epiphany enjoys direct beach access. Check-in is on Saturday.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool open dates are 4/4/2026 through 10/24/2026 with a pool heat cost of $700.00. 2027 pool open dates are 3/27/2027 through 10/23/2027 with a pool heat cost of $700.00.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Pets: Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee.
