An unmatched vacation experience starts at Coastal Sol, a 24-bedroom oceanfront home designed to be the ultimate backdrop for your next Outer Banks reunion, retreat, or event. Decked out with endless indoor and outdoor amenities and perfectly situated at Milepost 9 in central Kill Devil Hills, this seaside estate offers a winning combination of style, comfort, and location. With 20 private baths, an elevator, and 24 parking spaces, hosting a group of this size feels effortless.

The fun starts outside, in the resort-style backyard. A glistening 47.0 x 21.0 private pool is the perfect place to cool off. A cabana and a hot tub are available, the ideal spots to unwind in the shade, and two outdoor showers make rinsing off after the beach simple. Fire up the gas grill for dinner alfresco, then take in the view from the sun deck, which overlooks the pool and on towards the ocean. Stairs lead to your personal beach access with a covered dune-top deck.

Inside is a rec room with a kitchenette and lounge area, so the entertainment is endless. For movie night, cozy up in the theater room, which offers tiered seating and a large projection screen TV. With 30 TVs throughout the house, everyone can catch their favorite show or game.

The best place for family and friends to gather at the end of long vacation days is the oceanfront great room. This open-concept area features the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Sliding doors lead to covered decks to enjoy sweet sea breezes and relaxing water views. Free high-speed wireless internet keeps everyone connected, a highchair is on hand for the littlest travelers, and two dogs are welcome with an additional fee. The Kill Devil Hills Location

Kill Devil Hills sits in the heart of the Outer Banks, with direct beach access from oceanfront homes and lifeguards stationed every half-mile during the summer season. Beyond the sand, guests enjoy a network of bike and walking paths, a community skate park, playgrounds, go-carts, bowling, miniature golf, laser-tag, and the movies. History lovers can visit the Wright Brothers Memorial, home to a reproduction of the Wright Flyer first flown in 1903 by Wilbur and Orville Wright. Grocery stores, surf shops, colorful boutiques, and dining from finer restaurants to family fare line the beach road and the bypass, and a short drive to Colington Island leads through maritime forest toward the sound, where fresh seafood is caught and sold.

Special Events Welcome: $3,500 special event fee and $3,000 refundable security deposit required for all special events. Please note the dune beyond the pool fence cannot be used. Pool: Pool heated by heat pump for additional fee. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees. 2026 pool dates: 4/5/2026 to 10/25/2026, pool heat $900.00. 2027 pool dates: 3/28/2027 to 10/24/2027, pool heat $900.00.

Special Access Amenities: There is a ramp leading to the front entrance, and an elevator. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.
