This Carolina Designs estate at Milepost 9 in Kill Devil Hills spans more than 11,000 square feet, with an elevator reaching every floor, a 30 x 15 private pool, a hot tub, and a private walkway leading straight down to the Atlantic. Stretch out, spread out, and let the whole group settle in without anyone giving up comfort or privacy.

Overview

Carolina Breeze is a one-of-a-kind oceanfront estate built for gatherings that simply will not fit anywhere else. This custom home stuns with breezy, open architecture, walls of glass, and sweeping ocean views from nearly every common space. All 24 bedrooms have private baths, so every member of your group enjoys an ensuite bath for the duration of the stay. Bedding includes 19 kings, one queen, and eight twin bunks, along with 24 full baths and two half baths.

Spacious common areas include an oceanview open atrium rec room wrapped in windows, a two-story open entrance foyer, a generous kitchen, an additional kitchenette, and four full levels of living space. The airy great room features floor-to-ceiling windows that frame endless ocean views and flows into the roomy kitchen and multiple dining areas, making it easy for the entire group to gather in one place.

Entertainment is everywhere in this OBX vacation rental. The atrium rec room holds a pool table and is open to the great room above, the media room is set up for movie nights, and there are 29 TVs in the home. An elevator provides access to all four levels, and a seasonal fireplace (October through March) makes the great room just as inviting in the cooler months.

Outdoors, catch fresh sea breezes on the mid-level sun deck, or take a refreshing dip in the 30 x 15 private pool, complete with an outdoor shower and a hot tub. A gas grill stands ready for cookouts, and your very own walkway leads directly to the beach, where the Outer Banks' finest attraction waits right at your doorstep. Practical details are covered too: 24 parking spaces, an onsite EV charger, free high-speed wireless internet, and Saturday check-in. Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee.

Seasonal Cabana Services: Service dates for the 2027 season are 05/01/2027 - 09/18/2027. This home receives beachside cabana & beach chair set-up services during your stay. This complimentary service includes one 10x10 cabana tent and six beach chairs. Set-up hours are 10am to 5pm daily (except check-in/check-out day), weather permitting. This service is not available for partial-week stays and is subject to local ordinances. Service provided by Farmdog Beach Services. Additional add-on services and other rentals are available upon request for an additional charge.

EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.

Special Access Amenities: A ground floor queen bedroom offers a special access bath with roll-under sink, low-barrier shower, shower seat, and grab bars.

Pool: The 2026 pool season runs 4/4/2026 - 10/24/2026 and the 2027 pool season runs 3/27/2027 - 10/23/2027. Pool heat is available for $600.00. Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
