Head to the heart of downtown Manteo for a shopping experience that highlights the talented artists and craftsmen of the region. The Tuesday Craft Fair at the Magnolia Market Place is a summertime event that is held every week, and which features an array of unique crafts and artworks that are a celebration of the coastal Outer Banks environment.

The Craft Fair is held on the corner of Annanias Dare and Queen Elizabeth Streets in the heart of downtown Manteo, and because of this central locale, the fair is effortlessly easy to reach for all downtown area explorers. Though the wares sold at the sunny outdoor fair can change from week to week, visitors can expect an array of local goods like handmade sea glass jewelry, recycled bottle crafts, beaded jewelry, wind chimes, crocheted items such as baby blankets, photographs and prints, original artworks, homemade soaps, and much, much more.  The ensuing array of goodies will make any art lover or everyday shopper want to linger, and pick up a few unique treasures that can’t be found anywhere else. A fine representation of the talented artists that call the Outer Banks home, this craft fair is a great destination for shoppers of all tastes and interests.
