Trunk Or Treat on Hatteras Island

Enjoy a safe and fun Halloween with this annual event that makes trick or treating in the heart of Hatteras Island a breeze. Trunk Or Treat has become a hit with visitors and locals alike, and is a great way for kids to load up on candy while meeting and mingling with their fellow costumed Halloween fans.

The event takes place at the parking lot of the expansive Koru Beach Club – an oceanfront destination that’s located in the center of Avon, and which is nicely easy to reach for visitors staying all along Hatteras Island. During this evening celebration, kids can go from “trunk to trunk” to load up on candy from cars that are decorated with a Halloween theme. Volunteers are welcome to bring along their décor and their stores of sweets to join in the fun, and all little ones are welcome to come by to get their candy fix. With a fun and safe environment where the ample candy rules the scene, Trunk Or Treat provides the perfect opportunity for a little trick or treating, Hatteras style.
