The Slushy Stand has been a fixture on the Ocracoke Island landscape since 1974, and today, the ice cream and frozen dessert shop has a wonderfully central location in the heart of Ocracoke Island, complete with a shaded porch so that customers can relax and enjoy their treats to the fullest. Visitors can also find a selection of rental bikes at The Slushy Stand to easily cruise through the village, and the shop offers frozen treats as well as a hefty array of coffee drinks, bagels, and muffins for an easy meal or snack on the go. With a tasty and ever-changing selection of ice cream flavors, drinks, and baked goods, everyone will find something to indulge in with every visit to this traditional and longtime favorite Ocracoke island destination.
