The Roanoke Island Outfitters & Dive Center

The Outdoors Outfitters has changed it's name and moved to a more visible location. The new Roanoke Island Outfitters and Dive Center still is your one shop stop for active fun on Roanoke Island. These folks are seasoned and educated when it comes to their services and supplies. They take their jobs, and your entertainment and safety VERY seriously.

You can rent or buy new and used gear for all the sports and activities they offer such as kayaking, scuba diving, spearfishing, biking, camping and paddleboarding.

For nearly 30 years, these folks have been enjoying the Outer Banks and indulging in it in an active way. Co-owner, Pam Landrum, is the author of A Guide to Sea Kayaking the North Carolina Coast. They will rent or sell you a kayak and also offer the largest selection of spearfishing guns, one of their most popular activities.

They offer dive boat charters, beach dives, scuba instruction and sell or rent snorkel gear as well as give lessons to adults and children. Rent a bike and tour beautiful Roanoke Island or enjoy a guided tour with the folks at Roanoke Island Outfitters and Dive Center. They are conveniently located on Hwy 64 in the heart of Manteo. Ask about their quaint B & B, the Outdoors Inn, located a bike’s ride away.
