Whet an appetite for a variety of local and regional fare with this special weekly tasting that puts Outer Banks flavors in the spotlight. Taste It Tuesdays presents a wide array of wines, micro-brews, snacks, dips, accoutrements, and more, which will leave any food lover wanting more.

The weekly event is held every Tuesday afternoon in the summer months at the charming and centrally located Tommy's Natural Foods and Wine Shop in the town of Duck. During the four hour tasting, visitors are free to pop into the store at any time to see what new and favorite delicacies are available to sample. In addition to a nice selection of wines and beers from area breweries and beyond, there is also more than 20 specialty food products to taste, which includes salsa, dips, olive oil, balsamic vinegars, marinades, cookies, homemade cakes, coffee, tea and more. With plenty of local businesses represented, visitors can get an authentic feel for the flavors of the local coastal landscape while discovering a new treat or two to take back home. As such, the event is a great way for visitors of all ages and tastes to sample all the goodies that the Outer Banks has to offer.
