PortCity Cheesesteak Company

PortCity Cheesesteak Company is a cool little sandwich shop that’s located just off of Market Street on the edges of Downtown Wilmington. As the name would suggest, this is place that Philly fans and natives can go to sample a big taste of home that will fill the biggest appetite.

The menu is short but substantial, with the classic steak sandwich being the star of the scene. Patrons can load up their big sub of sliced steak and sautéed onions with a dose of white American, provolone, or Wiz cheeses, or with a wealth of veggies including peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. There’s also a couple of variations on the traditional Philly, including a Chicken Philly and a Pizza Philly, which is loaded with onions, peppers, shrooms, cheese, and marinara, and burger lovers will also find a handful of burger options on the menu as well. As a side, diners can munch on loaded fries, regular fires, and chips, and wash it all down with a big soft drink. Though the menu is simple, PortCity Cheesesteak Company impresses Philly fans with its traditional sub-style sandwiches that are best suited for big, Philadelphia-sized appetites.
