Celebrating 50 Years on the Outer Banks

In 1974, we opened our first little store on the beach road with a few hundred square feet, friendly service, and hundreds of hammocks. Beyond the warm smiles and all that rope, there lay dedication and a commitment. Our objective: to deliver products that are comfortable and durable enough to withstand the test of time.

Although we have outgrown that first store and expanded our product offering, Nags Head Hammocks remains committed to handcrafting every hammock, every swing, and every piece of outdoor furniture right here in North Carolina. We use industry-leading materials, proven crafting techniques, and Fifty Years of experience to produce the most comfortable and durable products anywhere. For those who discovered us when the beach had a more rustic charm, rest assured that our stores are now more inviting than ever.
