Head to one of the most charming galleries in Avon to expand your own creative talents with this fun and relaxed crafting class that’s ideal for both beginners and experts. The Mugs & Bowls – Pottery Class will teach students the art of creating functional pottery though clay, patterns, textures, and other methods to create a unique souvenir or two that visitors won’t soon forget.

The class is held at the Kinnakeet Clay Studio and Showroom, which is tucked away in Avon Village, and which is not too far away from the otherwise busy beach scene. Surrounded by live oaks and smaller homes, the setting is ideal for a lazy morning of relaxing and getting your hands dirty while discovering a new artistic skill and talent. After crafting a functional piece of pottery, the experts at Kinnakeet Clay will then fire and glaze the piece, and will ship the new piece of pottery to your home. Visitors must call or stop by to register as soon as possible, as these summertime art classes are quickly becoming a favorite activity for residents and locals alike.
