Get your Halloween off to a deliciously spooky start with this unique film festival that’s celebrating its 4th year on the Outer Banks. The Halloween International Film Festival is a multi-day event that features a wide array of independent movies from all over the region and the world, and which caps off each series of films with a wealth of spooky activities that will get everyone into the seasonal spirit.

The Halloween International Film Festival is presented by Halloween Daily News and OBX Entertainment, and the winning submissions from a months-long vetting process will be shown at the RC Theaters Movies 10 in the central Outer Banks town of Kill Devil Hills. After the festival screenings, which people are welcome to attend, the festival continues well into the night with nightly after parties which can also include cool costume contests, Scaryoke, special guest Q&A panels, and many more Halloween events. With lots of ways to celebrate the Halloween holiday, this multiple day event is a great way for visitors throughout the Outer Banks to indulge their love of scary movies, discover some new talents on the independent movie scene, and celebrate in style with a rocking good time – both before and after the shows.
