Frisco Woods Campground

There is nothing better than waking up with the sound to one side and the sea nearby. Island camping is incredibly refreshing, and Frisco Woods offers just the right facilities to enjoy your stay.

Located on the Pamlico Sound in a wooded national seashore, the campground features a large convenience and gift store where you can pick up ice and groceries, and beach and camping supplies. The facilities include 20-30 Amp. electric service, cable TV, water and sewer hook-ups, dumping station, public phones, dishwashing area, a coin-operated laundry, and fish cleaning bench.

Cool off in the solar-heated outdoor swimming pool, and the wide sound front beach is perfect for launching a kayak or windsurfer.

Accommodations include one- and two-room camping cabins with air conditioning, charcoal grill, and picnic table and outside water.

To go more natural, choose a secluded campsite for your tent, RV or trailer. Pets are welcome. Call for reservations.

Campers are a short walk, bike or car ride away from a variety of hotspots including the Cape Hatteras Fishing Pier, Lighthouse and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum.
