Talk about getting lost in a store! Edith’s Gallery, located in Central Square, features five rooms stuffed with antiques and vintage items and lots of cool “junque.” There’s wonderful finds to be had at this eclectic shop, and an antique lover can easily spend hours looking. Nearly every corner, every shelf, every glass case, every inch of the floor has something interesting. Edith’s sells costume and vintage jewelry, furniture, vintage clothing, children’s toys, magazines, baskets, rugs, dishware, mirrors, old kitchen implements, art, pottery and glassware. There’s a large collection of vintage children’s books and an entire room of knick-knacks. Opened in 2001 by Outer Banks artist Edith Deitgen, the store reflects old Nags Head and there’s always a local gem among the vast inventory. Of course, like all good antique stores, every week offers something different
