Enjoy a lively evening of American music while taking in one of the most scenic corners of soundside Duck with this special concert that’s held at the Duck Town Park, and which is wide open to the public.
Urban Soil is based out of Raleigh North Carolina, and is regionally famous for their familiar and catchy mix of Americana, rock, and soul. Influenced by early roots, this band features a powerful soul sound that’s combined with a little funk, which will have everyone ready to get up and dance the night away.
The event takes place on the edge of the Currituck Sound in the heart of Duck, and the town park presents a perfect venue for watching the sun set over the water as the good tunes roll. Visitors are welcome to bring along beach chairs, blankets, and beach towels for the 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. show, and to pick out a nice stretch of grassy lawn to kick off their shoes and relax. The event is free, and is part of a weekly concert series that is held throughout the summer. Fun for all ages, this special concert on the green is a great way to discover the fun of Duck after dark.
