Colington Cafe

The Colington Cafe is a unique and romantic upscale restaurant located off the beaten path in Kill Devil Hills off Colington Road. The Victorian house is nestled in shady oaks with beautiful gardens and southern ferns, offering a unique atmosphere for dining in the Outer Banks. Gourmet, local food, moderate prices and excellent service make The Colington Cafe an exceptional dining experience in the Outer Banks.

The menu offers a variety of fresh fare. For appetizers, choose from Coconut Shrimp, She Crab Bisque or even a vegetarian option of Tartines Provencales (goat cheese, tapenade, roasted tomatoes and pesto served with crispy croustades). You can also choose from salads and cheese plates for starters. Entrees vary from seafood, pasta, filet, and chicken and pork dishes. Popular choices include Lump Crab Cakes, Shrimp and Scallop Napoleon, Pasta Primavera, Filet Mignon, Filet and Crabmeat (a grilled filet mignon topped with fresh lump crabmeat and  Bearnaise sauce), Chicken Normandy and Pork Tenderloin. 

Dessert is not to be skipped at Colington Cafe. Fresh, gourmet tarts and pastries finish the meal nicely along with espresso or cappuccino.  

While The Collington Cafe is a wonderful place for date night, it’s also kid friendly, offering a kid’s menu with simple choices to please the little ones.
