Coastal Explorations

Get up close and personal with nature through Coastal Explorations. They offer adventurous and educational boat and kayak tours on the Outer Banks. There are multiple tours from which to choose. Enjoy exploring island and marsh. View wildlife and learn local history. Take a variety of boat cruises.

Interested in crabbing? Go hand-lining with these folks, and pull in a few crab pots, as well. Bring a cooler for your keeper crabs!

Kids ages 4-12 will enjoy their Kid Kamp where they use dip nets to sweep through grass lines to locate shrimp or minnows. The guide uses cast nets and crab pots to pull in other catches. This tour uses double sit-on-top kayaks for freedom of movement and stability.

Take advantage of their rentals and enjoy standup paddleboarding and Hobie Cat cruises.

Coastal Explorations will create a tour just for you. There are many variations on a theme, and the theme is the beautiful outdoor Outer Banks!
