Chinatown is located in the Hatteras Island Plaza and offers eat-in and take-out lunches and dinners in traditional Chinese style. They offer an all-you-can-eat buffet and a lunch menu that will please vegetarians and meat lovers alike. What sets them apart from other traditional Chinese eateries is their sole use of vegetable oil in their cooking as well as offering an MSG-free menu. Early openings and late evening closings make them the go-to place whenever you get a yen for egg rolls, spare ribs, fried bsicuits, wonton and egg drop soup as well as a large variety of main courses served in quart and pint sizes. Enjoy egg foo young, chow mein, chop suey, fried rice, bead curd dishes, and pork, poultry, beef and seafood choices. They offer combination dinners that come with rice and an eggroll as well as chef specialties that focus on Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese style foods. Enjoy their Seven Stars Around the Moon, boneless chicken, shrimp, chicken, beef, and roast pork with mixed vegetables. And the Club Seafood certainly is a beach crowd pleaser - shrimp, scallops, lobster, and crab meat in a special white sauce with white rice. Some dishes are served hot and spicy, but the chef is happy to adjust the heat to suit your taste!
