Bob’s Dogs

Vacationers who are looking for a fast and classic bite before reaching the beach can make a stop at Bob’s Dogs – a fun and funky hot dog restaurant (and more) that’s found just a few blocks away from the beach. Featuring a central location that’s easy for just-arrived visitors to reach, as well as a colorful and downright tropical environment that includes outdoor seating in the warm weather months, Bob’s Dogs is the perfect destination for patrons to fill up on classic beach fare in a truly beachy atmosphere.

The menu goes well beyond the scope of hot dogs, and includes a nice array of hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, cookies and ice cream, which include the basics, like an OKI style burger with mustard, chili, slaw and onions, to the more original, like the Tropical Chicken sandwich with pineapple. Even though there’s a nice variety of lunchtime staples, the hot dogs are the star of the show, and visitors will have more than a dozen varieties to choose from. For something wholly original, try the Signature Surf & Turf dog, which features mustard, slaw, cocktail sauce, and grilled shrimp. With all the classics represented in new and slightly creative ways, Bob’s Dogs is a step above the classic beachside hot dog stand.
