You’ll find Barr-ee Station 3 waiting for you where the Boardwalk stops, at the south end of the Waterfront Shops, with it’s restful benches and light refreshments hitting the spot after a long stroll.
One can’t help at least taking a peek into this cozy corner shop, with its interesting and inviting décor luring you in from the deck. On display outside the shop are lovely old wicker chairs, wrought iron planters and ornamental pieces, antique tables, old beach cottage shutters, hand crafted birdhouses and artistic metal sculptures of lobsters and mermaids and the like.
Inside its pastel walls you’ll find a unique selection of antiques, furniture and gifts and a clothing and swimwear outlet as well. Among other stunning antiques, lovely hand-painted furniture pieces sit atop samples of their gorgeous oriental rug collection. This eclectic ensemble includes lamps, glassware and other smaller treasures, and adorning the walls is a small and very affordable collection of original paintings by local artists. Also available are accessories like throw pillows, scarves, bags and jewelry and many small gift items, some one-of-a-kind.
In addition to its regular seasonal discounts, Barr-ee Station 3 runs super sales in the fall, including annual outdoor tent sales during Thanksgiving weekend. The shop is open daily in season, but fall hours and days may vary.
