With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start planning those festive centerpieces that will be the highlight of every family meal throughout the season. Visitors who want to brighten their interior décor scheme will find a lot of tips, tricks and practical applications for making their table-scapes shine through this special program that’s hosted by the Elizabethan Gardens.

The Art of Centerpieces Workshop will show students how to create a wide array of materials to craft the perfect centerpiece for all their holiday celebrations. Students are encouraged to bring along their favorite ribbons, ornaments, or other sparkling and colorful items from home, and the Elizabethan Gardens will provide the base, as well as the greening pins and stunning cuttings from the site’s own gardens. With all the materials in place, visitors will enjoy a hands-on session that will eventually lead to a beautiful centerpiece, all while enjoying a few light refreshments and detailed instruction along the way. The class is $25 for members and $30 for not-yet members, and advanced registration is required to attend, with a total limit of 25 participants. Fun for crafty folks of all ages, this workshop is a great way to ring in the holiday with style.
