Bring an appetite and a love of all things shrimp to this fun annual event where great taste rules. The 12th Annual Outer Banks Shrimp Cook-Off is an opportunity for chefs and seafood fans to come together to discover the rich and diverse flavors of this beloved southern staple, and to have a fun afternoon of eating and enjoyment in the heart of the Outer Banks.

During the festivities, chefs from all across the region will compete head-to-head for the title of Best Shrimp Dish. Along the way, attendees will be treated to samples of each of the competing dishes, and will then have an opportunity to vote for their favorites. In addition to the fare, the event also features a live silent auction with generous donations from local businesses, a live MC, and even a dolphin conservation outreach booth. Tickets are $25 at the door, and all proceeds go to benefit a local 501 c(3) non-profit, the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research. With lots of great flavor to go around, the Annual Outer Banks Shrimp Cook-Off is a great opportunity to dive into the truly delicious flavors of the OBX.
