Enjoy the fireworks display with a rousing roster of patriotic music with a special performance by the 208th Army Band. The 208th Army Band is a renowned United States Army Reserve Band that is stationed in the inland town of Concord, North Carolina, and the band features roughly 40 citizen warrior musicians, and is a separate unit that is under the command of the 81st Regional Support Command. Tasked with promoting the spirits of our fighting forces and serving as musical goodwill ambassadors for the United States Army in the Eastern United States, the band has a line-up of songs and music genres that includes everything from traditional and classical music, to jazz, marches, rock, and other patriotic selections.

The concert will be held at the Outdoor Pavilion of the Festival Park, which is well known as one of the most scenic destinations in the central Outer Banks, and which features a stunning setting with the Roanoke Sound in the not-so-distant background. The concert is free to the public, and visitors will enjoy fantastic music in addition to amazing fireworks over the water when the skies get dark. The combination of fireworks and patriotic music is truly a great way to celebrate the Independence Day holiday.
