1718 Brewing

Come enjoy a pint of grog and make Blackbeard the Pirate proud at this relatively new Ocracoke attraction that is brimming with great taste. 1718 Brewing is Ocracoke Island and the southern Outer Banks’ only local brewery, and this establishment features an ever-rotating selection of craft brews created on the premises to the delight of beer fans everywhere.

1718 Brewing has a number of rotating taps and seasonal beers to sample, and visitors can enjoy a full pint of their favorites, or take a flight to sample a bit of everything that the brewery has to offer. Growlers and other take-home brews are available, (as well as signature T-shirts and other beer-centric merchandise), and the brewery also features an in-house restaurant that serves up small plates, tapas, appetizers, and sandwiches that are designed to pair perfectly with their beers. There’s plenty of seating inside and out for patrons who want to linger and enjoy a brew or two, and the brewery is always featuring new varieties to try for frequent visitors. With lots of unique beers that are making a mark throughout the Outer Banks, 1718 Brewing is a must-see destination for beer lovers and anyone who likes to unwind with a cold drink after a long day at the beach.
