The Elizabethan Gardens celebrates the birth of Virginia Dare, the first English child born in the New World, with special discounted rates on admission to the gardens, as well as a wealth of activities that will delight young and old visitors alike. On Virginia Dare's Birthday, the rate to enter the gardens will drop with $2 off admission to commemorate Virginia's 431st birthday in 2019.
In addition to the discounted admission price to the stunning gardens, the site will also host a number of activities throughout the morning and afternoon to commemorate the iconic date. These activities and events include a plant sale with 30% off select plans and 10% off Virginia Dare statues, as well as a wealth of other fun activities such as games and / or a story hour for kids, educational sessions on Virginia's legacy, and so much more.
