This Outer Banks vacation townhome "Sea Dunes D1" is located at mile post 4 1/4. The Sea Dunes is just across from 475 ft. of unobstructed, pristine beach that is life guarded. This complex provides their guests with use of the Community Pool (open mid May to mid September) along with use of the racquetball court, tennis/pickleball court, whirlpool, universal weight equipment and the clubhouse with WIFI and there is also WIFI in the unit. 

Ground Level: Master Bedroom/Den with a Bunk Set, enormous private bathroom, sitting area with flat-screen TV and a New Queen Sleep Couch. This is a great place for the kids to hang out. New, laundry room with utility sink, washer/dryer and refrigerator. The hallway stair case leads to the mid level.

Mid Level: Offers a Queen Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV, covered porch access and a private bathroom. Bedroom with a bespoke constructed-in bed with Queen, 2 Bunk Singles overhead, flat-screen TV and full hallway bathroom. 

Top Level: Great room with brand new furnishings, 50" flat-screen TV/DVD and deck access, half bathroom, dining room seating 6-7 and kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless appliances and breakfast bar seating 3. Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

This home does not offer an outside shower.
This home requires a $250.00 security deposit, returnable pending no damage. 

Booking: After booking, you will receive an e-mail with instructions to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your online payment within 3 days, to avoid cancellation. During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. We offer optional travel insurance as well as other optional costs that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. *Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 3 days to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Most know The Cotton Gin as a must-stop shop for fine gifts, beachwear, souvenirs and so much more, but this retailer has a long-standing history within the Outer Banks. A local landmark that holds almost a century of memories, The Cotton Gin started from humble beginnings and continues to adapt to the times and tourists. Tommy Wright’s family has been in the Outer Banks for nearly 200 years. His great-great grandfather, Jacob Francis Wright, shipwrecked in Duck back in the early 1800s. Calling these barrier islands his new home, Wright and his family acclimated to their new environment.

 

Adaptation is a common theme for the Wright family. Tommy and his wife Candace, who continue to steer The Cotton Gin, have seen not only their business change with the times, but the Outer Banks as a vacation destination as well. A farm market in Jarvisburg eventually transformed and flourished into several retail locations dotting the Outer Banks.

 

“As the area changed and tourism took off in the 1960s, the family saw people coming for vacations, so they began to grow vegetables and things developed from there,” says Tommy Wright. The Wright family expanded upon the farm market and began to remodel a working cotton gin, later transforming the gin into The Cotton Gin general store in the late 1960s. While the additions to the farm store drew visitors, it was their encounters with the Wright family that kept people coming back year after year, which is something that remains true today.
