Watch ospreys flying along the shoreline to fish the waters and carry off their catch amid a multitude of other birds such as great white egrets, cormorants, blue herons, ospreys, mallards, and geese. Watch mullet jump just offshore both day and evening. You may even see deer! Appreciate fun water activities like sunbathing, wading, and swimming in the shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound. The sound waters offer fishing and shellfishing activities that include clamming, scalloping, crabbing, and net casting.

The ground level features an outside shower, a utility room with a refrigerator, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer. The first level is home to all three bedrooms, each with an LCD TV. The main bedroom has a 50-inch LCD TV and a slider to the deck with a new six-person hot tub.
