Welcome to Daisy's Dune, where an ideal location and a list of desirable vacation amenities meet! By "ideal location", we don't just mean being on the oceanfront where the beach is your backyard. You're also near many local spots that people often enjoy visiting during their beach trip to Kill Devil Hills. Restaurants within walking distance include Kill Devil Grill, Beachcombers Tiki Hut, Mama Kwan's Tiki Bar & Grill, Country Deli (subs and sandwiches), Noosa Scoops (ice cream), American Pie (pizza), Miller's Seafood & Steak House, and more. A couple minute walk up the street will put you at Swells'a Brewing, a fun brewery with lots of outdoor hangout space and quite a selection of drinks. A 5-10 minute walk south gets you to Surfin' Spoon, where you'll enjoy delicious frozen yogurt and a topping bar that can't be beat. A Harris Teeter is located right across the bypass to stock up on food, drinks, and snacks for the week without having to travel far from the house.

Accommodations & Amenities

Twenty bedrooms are spread across four levels, 14 of them with private baths, and the bedding lineup includes 16 kings, a queen, four twins, and four double bunks. In all, there are 17 full baths and two half baths, so mornings never turn into a waiting game. Laundry facilities are located on the ground, first, and second floors, and the elevator makes moving luggage and beach gear between levels simple (note that the elevator does not travel to the third floor).

Outside, the 45.0 x 17.0 private pool anchors the elevated deck, with a hot tub out on the private dune deck. A gas grill is ready for cookouts, and 20 parking spaces mean your whole group can arrive without a shuffle. Inside, you'll find 24 TVs, a home theater, a recreation room, and free high-speed wireless internet throughout. A seasonal fireplace (October through March) makes this OBX vacation rental just as inviting in the cooler months, and two dogs are welcome with an additional fee. Check-in is on Saturday.

The Kill Devil Hills Location

Staying in the heart of the Outer Banks puts far more than the beach within reach. Kill Devil Hills is home to a network of bike and walking paths, a community skate park, playgrounds, go-carts, bowling, miniature golf, laser-tag, and the movies, plus water sports on both the ocean and the sound. The Wright Brothers National Memorial, where Wilbur and Orville Wright made the first powered flight in 1903, is a short drive away and houses a reproduction of the Wright Flyer. Grocery stores, surf shops, colorful boutiques, and a wide range of dining options line the beach road and the bypass, and a detour to Colington Island takes you through maritime forest toward the sound, where fresh seafood is caught and sold. With the oceanfront setting, though, you may find it hard to leave your own dune deck.

Pool: Heated by propane. Max. pool temperature is 85 degrees. 2026 pool dates are 5/2/2026 to 10/10/2026 and 2027 pool dates are 3/26/2027 to 10/24/2027; pool heat is available for $750.00.
