The United States Navy Band will take to the stage – or rather, the shaded porch – to provide the evening’s entertainment at this wholly unique and enjoyable concert in the heart of Downtown Manteo.
Bluegrass and other music genre bands from all across the country flock to the porch of the Bluegrass Island Trading Co. every year to perform to a small crowd of locals and visitors who find a sunny (or shaded) spot on the grounds of the unique shop. During this special performance, the United States Navy Band will strut their stuff, and will give concert-goers plenty of reasons to celebrate purely American music. The concert is free and open to the public, and visitors are welcome to bring along their beach chair or blanket to find a good spot near the action and to enjoy the performance. Held in the heart of downtown Manteo, this concert serves as the perfect way to cap off a day in scenic Roanoke Island, with a roster of talented musicians that will create a performance that’s simply unforgettable.
