The Tranquil House Inn has a long and storied history, and its current reincarnation is making memories all its own. Located on Shallowbag Bay in downtown Manteo, the Inn features one of the best views on Roanoke Island. Across the bay sits the majestic Elizabeth II, which represents a 16th century wooden sailing vessel. The Inn features an upscale, waterfront restaurant and bar.
All rooms and rates are double occupancy. The rooms include a wine reception every evening and a continental breakfast. Up to two children under the age of 16 may stay free in parents room (max. occupancy allowing). You pay ten dollars for each additional child and ten dollars for each additional adult above double occupancy in any room. Cots and cribs are ten dollars.
Rooms include private bathroom, cable, desk, telephone, hanging clothes closet, and individual controlled air conditioning. All guest rooms are non-smoking.
Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m.
