Costumes, ghouls, beer, and a little run through the OBX – if this fits your idea of a cool Halloween celebration, then you’ll want to join in the fun of the “The Beer Witch Project,” which is a one-mile beer run that’s hosted by the Outer Banks Brewing Station in the heart of the central Outer Banks.
The event is limited to 100 participants, and is an adult 21 and over event that will include a competitive race to the finish with stops for beer along the way. The entry fee includes a free long sleeve t-shirt for all participants who compete in the race. Awards are given to the fastest male and female finishers overall, and visitors are encouraged to wear their finest Halloween costumes, as additional awards will be given for the scariest and most creative costumes. A legendary backyard party will follow the event, and admission to the party is included with the registration fee as well. Fun for all ages, this Halloween celebration is a great way to run, drink, and have a ball while enjoying the cool and coastal surroundings of the Outer Banks.
