The Art Village is an industrious venture where artists have joined forces to present their work. Twenty local folk showcase a wide variety of art and crafts year round from jewelry, painting and photography to prints, stained glass and sculptures. You will discover a giant, handcrafted dollhouse complete with lighted chandeliers as well as large driftwood sculptures and wrapped sea glass jewelry. Of note are very cool handcrafted fabric postcards. Fiber crafts also include eyeglass cases, wall quilts and loads of cloth tote bags. View welded metal sculptures, a massive paper machie mermaid and a variety of arty Christmas tree ornaments. Center stage in one of the gallery’s rooms is a folk art-style, painted table featuring an American flag. The offerings here are eclectic and changing depending on what the artists create and range from traditional landscape paintings and a hand painted mailbox to broken china angels and an array of fascinating beadwork.
