During the tour, patrons will learn all about the Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher regions, from historic naval battles to the island’s early beginnings as a popular tourist destination. Patrons will wander through the heart of the Carolina Beach area, and will stop at 5-6 restaurants along the way to add an extra dose of fun to every educational story. There are two tours available, which includes an afternoon of interesting history and tasty eats on the Signature Tour, and the Eat Around the World Tour, which both run roughly 2.5 hours, and which both feature different food, and different histories. Perfect for explorers with large appetites, the Tasting History Tours puts the story behind the Cape Fear region in a new light, and offers a fun way to experience the coastal landscape at its most delicious.
