Tarheel Too offers the best in local/regional and seasonal produce that is fresh, delicious and flavorful. Much of the produce at Tarheel Too comes from nearby North Carolina farms. This ensures you will have the best quality ingredients for your next meal.

There’s nothing better about spring and summertime in North Carolina than the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables. This produce is harvested and delivered straight from the farm, so you can taste the freshness when it reaches your table.  From ripe strawberries picked in nearby Currituck to regional Carolina peaches and blueberries, you’ll love what Tarheel Too has to offer. The summer brings peanuts, squash, zucchini, onions, corn, sweet potatoes, collards and tomatoes, among other fruits and vegetables to the Outer Banks. You’ll know just what’s in season when you visit Tarheel Too because the produce stand will have it in stock.

Strawberry and peach pie sound good? Because Tarheel Too offers produce direct from the farm and eliminates middle men, you can get the ingredients you need at great farm market prices.

In addition to produce, you’ll find a selection of homemade jams, jellies and preserves as well as baked sweet breads all made from locally grown ingredients.

Tarheel Too produce stand is a free standing stall located in Seagate North Shopping Center (which hosts Bad Bean Taqueria) at milepost 5; you will spot Tarheel Too in the middle of the parking lot.  Operating hours and months as well as produce selection will vary depending on the growing season.
