SUPtastic is hosted by the Kitty Hawk Surf Co. and is a fun race that takes place in the heart of Manteo – one of the most picturesque towns along the OBX coastline. Stand-up paddleboard aficionados will take to the water on a 3 or 6 mile course that launches from the downtown area, and which explores some unique corners of the local landscape. Embark on the triangular course to discover the famed Roanoke Island Festival Park from a waterfront perspective, or enjoy a more challenging cruise by heading into the Shallowbag Bay, where the course veers from a protected canal to the open waters.
