Yes, Roanoke Island does have a year-round fabric shop! It is tucked away off the beaten path but features plenty of fabric and quilting supplies to make you salivate. They will even special order fabric depending on availability.
They only stock quilt-quality fabric on the bolt, which they will cut to order for you. They also sell by ¼ yard increments or Fat Quarters. They also stock the usual accoutrements such as thread, patterns, templates, scissors, needles, and cutters. They also offer interfacings, gadgets, stabilizers and wide quilt backing.
Shoreline carries a full line of Accuquilt Go! Cutters, mats and dies. These folks really know the quilting business and have started offering longarm quilting services. Visit them at http://www.milliesquilts.com to see options and get a quick estimate.
They are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 p.m. to 2 p.m. They ask that you call ahead just to make sure they are available when you are in the mood to shop!
