Head to the Dare County Arts Council in the heart of Downtown Manteo to catch a unique exhibit that combines both local and international influences at this art show that highlights a talented career as a travel/event photographer which transformed into a life as a distinctive painter. The Ryan Fox Solo Exhibit will wow art lovers with its distinctive collection of paintings that utilizes multiple surfaces and styles to tell a story.

The month-long show will showcase paintings, local and foreign, by world traveler and artist Ryan Fox, which are rendered in watercolor on various surfaces, including traditional paper, YUPO synthetic, and Japanese rice paper. The month-long exhibit kicks off with a special opening reception on Manteo’s First Friday, which features light hors d'oeuvres, live music and libations for all. The reception is also an opportunity for visitors to meet and greet with the artist himself, who will be on hand to answer questions about his highlighted works. The reception and the ensuing exhibit is free to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend the opening night, or to simply stop by the Dare County Arts Council to check out the remarkable pieces on display that have a distinctive global, (and local), influence.
