Visitors to the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island can enjoy a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of the on-site animal hospital during this special tour that uncovers the first stop for animals who are arriving at the aquarium.
The North Carolina Aquarium’s quarantine serves as the site’s animal hospital as well as its holding area for new arrivals, and during this special event, visitors can learn all about the animals that temporarily reside here, as well as the steps that staff members take to ensure their safety, and to help bring sick animals back to health.
