Have some fun here pretending to go back in time --- and get it photographed! Formerly Miss Kitty’s Old Time Photos, there’s a new name, and new owners Cindi and Jeff Harrell. Visitors love to pose in front of the staged bar as saloon girls and rough-and-tough cowboys brandishing pistols. Other favorites are posing as a nasty pirate or Southern belle. It’s a fun thing to do with friends or family or even your dog, and it makes a souvenir that you’ll actually keep forever. Even locals love to come in to get nostalgia photos done for Mother’s Day or anniversaries, and locals get a local discount. A costume choice in summer 2013: wearing an old-time bathing suit and posing in front of an authentic Nags Head beach scene. In addition to its regular open months, the store opens for a week around Thanksgiving, and is available year-round by appointment.
