ocracoke

The Ocracoke Health Center is hosting its fourth fundraising Seafood Festival in 2025, which was revitalized and returned to the island after Hurricane Dorian hit Ocracoke Island in 2019. Featuring live music, a live auction and silent auction, and plenty of fresh seafood, the late summer festival is a great way for Ocracoke newcomers and visitors to discover what the great flavors of this island are all about.

Fresh local seafood is readily available throughout the event, and while the cuisine steals the scene, there are lots of activities to discover in this afternoon and evening event. Live music will be provided throughout the evening thanks to the participation of several local and renowned bands, and there will also be a live auction as well as a silent auction with goodies and enticing gifts donated by local businesses. A percentage of the proceeds from the event go to benefit the Ocracoke Health Center, which is the lone health center on the island for residents and visitors alike. With lots of fun to go around, and a hefty serving of fresh local seafood that highlights the great tastes of Ocracoke, the Ocracoke Island Seafood Festival Benefit is an event that can’t be missed.
