Pickleball is a relatively new sport to the beach scene that has been storming the Outer Banks in the past few years, and this annual tournament is a great way for newcomers and experts alike to get in on the game. The OBX Pickleball Tournament will allow pickleball fans to meet and great with friends while enjoying an exciting series of games that is sure to get the heart racing.

The OBX Pickleball Tournament is a Round Robin tournament, and games will be either to 15 or 11 points, depending on the size of the bracket, with smaller brackets playing the longer games. Men's and women's doubles will take place on Saturday, while mixed doubles will take place on Sunday. The registration fee to attend is $35, and the fee includes one pickleball event, although folks can add a second event for just $10. The tournament will take place indoors in the centrally located town of Kill Devil Hills, and as such, will not be canceled or postponed due to unplayable outdoor conditions. With lots of excitement to go around, and plenty of room for folks to join in the fun, the OBX Pickleball Tournament is a great and relatively new event that is sure to grow in popularity in the coming years.
