Envision twig furniture and statuary dotting a wildly lush landscape on the sound. It is an idyllic scene that includes all your gardening and landscaping needs. Locals like to visit regularly as if they are taking a jaunt through the park. Nature’s Harmony can now offer double the beauty and convenience now that they have opened a new location in Manteo. Their Manns Harbor site always will draw visitors despite having to drive across the bridge. It is worth the visit, for peace’s sake!
The folks who run Nature’s Harmony are award winning, knowledgeable folk. They have been in the business for 40 years and have been featured in Rodale’s Organic Gardening Magazine as well as Rodale’s book, High Yield Gardening. They not only offer a wide variety of nature to purchase, but they have lots of services from which to choose. This includes: gardening consultations, design, landscaping and installation, updating existing landscapes, creating outdoor rooms and interior plantscapes, special orders and even free delivery throughout Dare County.
They are very into organic growing and offer a huge selection of plants including perennials, annuals, evergreens, deciduous flowering shrubs, houseplants and trees. The onsite shop is a delight featuring statuary, birdbaths and birdhouses, ornamental pots, stepping stones, planters and gardening supplies.
They will guide you regarding planting in a coastal zone and offer wind and salt tolerant species. Most plants are grown onsite. The prices are reasonable as a result! The new Manteo location is across from The Christmas Shop and behind the thrift store on Hwy 64. The new shop is closed Sundays, otherwise the hours are the same as the Manns Harbor center. They are open year round.
