The Miss Hatteras is a 75 foot party boat that takes folks on half- and full-day fishing trips as well as sunset and scenic cruises. Also called a headboat – you pay by the head, which makes it affordable – the Miss Hatteras fishes daily in season. You haven’t fished the Outer Banks until you’ve met Captain Spurgeon Stowe, the man who remembers something about everyone who fishes with him. He even has great tips for seasickness, if that should ever occur. His ship is roomy and state-of-the art with all the tackle and bait you need to make the trip memorable! He takes you fishing for a variety of bottom fish including triggerfish, snapper, grouper, sea bass flounder and more. The sunset cruise not only targets the pretty skies but dolphin and native birds, as well. Miss Hatteras fishes out of Oden’s Dock, located in the heart of Hatteras Village. Full-day trips run about 10 hours, and half-day trips last 4 hours. Call for reservations. All you need to bring is your snacks, beverages, sunscreen, hat and comfortable shoes. Miss Hatteras also is available for private fishing charters and weddings, parties and reunions.
