Take in one of the most famous landmarks in the northern Outer Banks while celebrating a sunny Memorial Day vacation in style by attending the Memorial Day Beach Blast. This afternoon concert will feature a full line-up of great live music, as well as an assortment of food and drinks, in one of the most scenic areas along the North Carolina coastline.

The event is held within the historic Corolla Park which is located on the grounds of the lemon yellow Whalehead Club – one of the original hunt clubs that dates back roughly 100 years. Throughout the afternoon, event attendees can listen to fantastic performances by headliners Blackwater Rhythm & Blues Band and opening band Jeremy & the Generations – two acclaimed regional music groups that bring a lot of good tunes and dancing music to the festivities. Admission is free, and visitors are welcome to bring along their beach chairs and towels to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scene. No outside alcohol is allowed, but drinks will be available at the premises. A great time for music lovers of all ages, the Memorial Day Beach Blast presents a fine opportunity to drink in the stunning Corolla scenery as well as the OBX music scene with a single visit to the iconic Whalehead Club.
