Married to Broadway

Enjoy an evening listening to decades of Broadway hits by the stars who made them famous at this special performance that’s landing on the Outer Banks, courtesy of the Outer Banks Forum for the Lively Arts. Ron Sharpe and Barbra Russell met and married when they were playing the leads in Les Misérables, and their hit show, Married to Broadway, features favorite songs from their signature musical, as well as many more hits that will have audience members transported to the bright lights of New York City and beyond.

Both Ron Sharpe and Barbra Russell have extensive roadway credits and credentials, and they are bringing their exceptional vocals and talents to the First Flight High School in the heart of Kill Devil Hills for this special one-night-only show. In Married to Broadway, the couple – along with their equally talented children - share their love affair with the great music of Broadway by performing the big show-stopping hits of such famed musicals as Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, West Side Story, Carousel, Fiddler on the Roof, and – of course – Les Miz. With incredible music all night long, the show – and the story – is truly a lovely tribute to the magic of musicals.
