The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum is renowned as one of the island’s newest and coolest museums, and is located at the very southern tip of Hatteras Village, next to the Hatteras / Ocracoke ferry docks as well as the ORV ramps to the inlet-bordering beaches. Within this museum, an assortment of artifacts and relics can be found that detail centuries of shipwrecks that have met their fate off the coast of the Outer Banks. During this cool class, kids will learn a little about this history while creating their own unique craft to take home as a treasured souvenir. All supplies are provided, and the event is free for any visitor who wants to swing by and get creative.
