Mama Kwans Grill and Tiki Bar is a favorite restaurant and hang out for locals and visitors. Famous for fish tacos and a Bushwackers (a frozen, alcoholic milkshake that's to die for!), Mama Kwans is a must-stop during your time in the Outer Banks. 

The menu incorporates a unique fusion of flavors influenced by Asian, Cajun, Caribbean and Hawaiian cuisine. Select from fresh local seafood, burgers, pastas and entrees such as Coconut Fried Shrimp, Pad Thai, Shrimp & Grits, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Jerk Chicken Soft Tacos or Mama’s Hawaiian Pork Plate. Sides of Butter Rum Rice and Sesame Seaweed Salad are not to be missed. You may have to visit Mama Kwans a few times to enjoy all of the fresh, unique fare offered. Daily specials range from homemade soups, salads and fresh local, seafood.
