Make a calm and quiet Hatteras Island evening a little brighter with this special event along the waterfront in Rodanthe. Light up the Night, which is hosted by the soundfront Kitty Hawk Kites Store, will feature a collection of activities, games, and even an outdoor movie under the stars, and will shine a spotlight on how cool Hatteras Island can be after hours.
Visitors will be treated to free NOCQUA watersports demos and will even have an opportunity to test out kayaks and / or stand-up paddle boards themselves, weather permitting. In addition, the waterfront along the Pamlico Sound will be brightened with an assortment of toys and games that glow in the dark, and which will have young attendees grinning from ear to ear. After the fun in and out of the water, spread out a beach blanket or set up a beach chair, and enjoy a family friendly movie under the stars on a big, inflatable movie screen. With so much to do, and so many ways to explore, Light up the Night is the perfect opportunity for OBX newcomers to enjoy all the amazing ways to have a ball when the sun goes down.
